All it takes is a willingess to learn and a open mind.
Yoga is a ancient tool that helps us integrate all the different pieces of our selves into the whole so we can live in the modern world in a more effective and purposeful way. Benefits of yoga include, but are not limited to, weight loss, stress reduction, injury prevention, positive body image, stregnthened immune system, increased ability to focus, overall body toning, a greater connection to a higher power and more.
Yoga is a healing system of theory and practice. It is a combination of breathing exercises (pranayama), physical postures (asanas), and meditation that has been practiced for more than 5,000 years.
